Steve Zermeno founded Backsider Music two years ago in Austin Texas. Since then, Jake Sherard (lead guitar), Drew Davis (bass) and Brian Watkins (drums) have added their superior talents to form a riveting modern rock group. Traveling through Texas, Backslider Music has captivated crowds all over the south with their dynamic, high energy live shows. Additionally being featured on radio stations, such as KLBJ Austin and KANM Texas A&M Radio College Station.
Their debut release, Self Titled, takes the listener on an exploration of raw emotions. The band pushes boundaries in songs such as "You Can't See", "Preacher Boy" and "Dim the Lights".
