Hailing from the Flint area, modern rock band A World Away has set forth to become an icon of not only the Flint music scene, but the national one as well. Six friends who are extremely passionate and dedicated are ready to show the world their talent. Ranging from the ages of 18 - 20, A World Away has performed countless shows, including Clutch Cargos, The Machine Shop, The Temple Club, and The Flint Local, to name a few, since forming in October of 2005. Now a year later, after just finishing recording their debut EP "Dinosaurs On a Cruise Ship" with Mark Michalik at Sentient Studios in Chicago, IL, A World Away is ready to share their music with the masses. Determined to be the next band out of Flint, A World Away is sure to be the name everyone will be talking about.
