"Awake in Desire" is the title of a song of "Love Like Blood",
under which 1994 Olaf Bruenger and Nicolas Preuss created the Synthie-Pop-Band
in Kiel / Germany. Already at that time were the Songs - as the origin of the
name betrays - strongly wavelike. 1995 they met in their own Projectstudio the
guitar-band "Tai pan" around the singer Olaf Koch, who produced an album
there. Already at that time they recognized many common musical preferences, whose
conversion began however 1998, after "Tai pan" separated for spatial
reasons. It came to renewed musical meeting with "Awake in Desire" and
one decided to unite two to date seeming incompatible music styles. "Awake
in Desire" was born. Synthiepop elements are received a mystische connection
with guitar elements. Driving Beats, weightless pads, melancholic guitars, mystic
songstexts, above all however the melancholische voice of Frontman Olaf Koch lends
volume their character to that. At present "Awake in Desire" are in
studio, in order to produce their Songs again there. They aim at a co-operation
with a Independent label, around the Songs professionally to marked out.
