Formed in the suburbs of Minneapolis, 'Avoiding Emily' was founded by Mike Wadzink and Chris Linke in early May, 2004. With diverse influences including The Cure, U2, Dashboard Confessional, Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday (to name a few...), they combine catchy riffs, brilliant melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and monster choruses to bring you songs you won't forget.
