We hope to impact, with our own gifts, the world for and through Christ as the punkers we are. We may look like rebels, but we want to show that kids like us are more than just how we look on the outside. We wish to impact the world in our way.

We started when our drummer Christian was seeking a band. When he was in 7th grade he met a boy named Jeremy . He was a true AC/DC fan. And, a guitar player. When they were in 8th grade, they were having a hard time finding a Bass player and a Singer. One day when Jeremy left Christian a message, He found a bass player named Tyler . He was the smartest person to get us gigs in the band. In the first practice we finished 2 songs "My Friends and Hammerhead". We had to Put out Hammerhead because Tyler couldn't get a bass line for this. But, after practice, he got name for the band. We were called "The Race". When we had our second practice, A boy named Billy went with Tyler to practice. Before we started any song, he grabbed a mic and started screaming. We liked his screaming and that's how we got our vocals. We don't talk about our bad practices so we'll just talk about the good ones. When Christian went to best buy, Tyler called him up and said we need to change our name. We had to change our name because, The Race was already taken. When we had another practice, we had a new name. We were called "Collision In Chaos". After a few months, Tyler and Jeremy started hating the name. So we changed it to "Jacobs House". But, a lot of kids in Christian and Jeremy's school didn't like the name. So when Christian, Billy, and Jeremy were at Tyler's birthday, We got a good name. We all agreed on "Sons of Valcore". few weeks later after Tyler's birthday, A boy named Jacob Joined our band. Few days later, Billy was kicked out of the band. And, a boy named Zack joined us as well. So Zack is our new lead guitar and Jeremy is back to rhythm guitar. When Jeremy found out, He quit the band and Zac became our only guitarist. during the month of June, he said he said he has to quit the band because he's going to high school. A few days before our drummer Christians B day, Tyler Found a guitar player named Brandon. He can play the whole song of Beast and the Harlot by Avenged Sevenfold. So he called Christian up and said he'll join. Then Months Later Tyler got a call from Christian and said that hes leaving the band because of sum special occasions. When Christmas came, Christian got a Double - Bass pedal for Christmas, Jeremy Got a Line - 6 Amp, and Tyler got a new bass. For a few months after that Tyler Called up on December and ask to jam with Jeremy again. So days after Christmas, we jammed again and we made a new breakdown for a change. nd after the jam Tyler said he'll stay with us. Jeremy decided to come back as well. So when we were talking Christian and Brandon made a decision whether or not to change our name. We didn't know what to do. so we had people vote. And people voted to change our name. So we gave the names that we thought of to have them vote on. They both voted on the only name that sounded really Christian... "Avenge The Martyr". So we've been agreed to change our name again this is our 5th name change. But i think this one is a really good one to keep. And the beginning of 2008 Brandon called Christian up and said he found a singer for us and Christian said we'll have to see what he can do b4 he joins. The Guys name is Jordan. He found another guitarist too. Now we have 3 guitarists. The third guitarist name was Jesse. Having Jesse and Jordan in the band didn't work out. Months later Christian was talking to Jeremy and he said hes moving on March 31. Now we're left with 1 guitarists. But Jeremy and the band agreed to do one final jam with him. During that summer Brandon met a guy named Reed in Summer School and found out he was a guitarist. He also found out that Reed was into the same music. Reed joined the band, and since then we've written 4 new songs soon to be posted. Now we've made shirts and selling them to make money for a recording studio that Reed knows of. We made a YouTube Channel just go to http://www.youtube.com/user/AvengeTheMarty.We are scheduled to record soon!!! We're going to try out a recording studio nearby, just to try out the acoustics of the room we're going to use and too just check it out and have fun. We're going to use our 4 track recorder(so we don't have to pay until we know for sure that we want to record there lol) but we're still raising money for new equipment. Reed's cousin Jordan from what he says is a good singer/screamer and we're going to let him practice with us and record. Reed says that he is a real determined guy who is already writing for us so what the heck we'll give him a try. We are interested and are hoping he's what we've been looking for. We recorded with Jordan and got our new music!!! Please listen!!! We released Self Titled EP and are finally getting along! :)We're deciding to re record Self Titled EP. Bc the first one we just released off impulse and excitement haha. We finished Meaning in the Thorns. We found a new bassist named HUGO. He is great and meshed into the band right in the beginning! Reed and Brandon hung out with him at school and found out he played bass. Hugo wanted in. They let him practice and after like 2 runs of each song, Hugo was adding fills and bass parts like a pro. he was in!!!! STAY TOON
