AUGUST MAYHEM is a 5 man army of bummers who spend their time fooling around, drinking, playing computer games, screaming their hearts out and strumming their guitars. They all hailed from Pandacan, Metro Manila, where music is a necessity, a way of life. It was those typical jamming sessions, a hobby that turned into a burning passion. In the August of 2006, they decided to make something out of their lives, and thus August Mayhem was born. The band name explains itself, and the word mayhem is just the opposite of what it means, go figure it out. The first members were Ero, Thonti and Jhay, then came francis. They had a couple of vocalists in the past; alex, nicole and Keiji, until recently they found a permanent vocalist, Kris. A few gigs here and there and they are planning to continue what they've started, what they all dreamed about and they are not planning to stop. This band is not just a group of strangers, not just aqcuantances there is one thing that matters more than plain studio jamming sessions and liquor parades, it's called FRIENDSHIP, it's that one thing that kept their spirits alive. AM is a typical band, hungry for chances, dedicated to their music and attached to their friends and family. Now, let's see where the waves will take them. Enough said, there you have it.
