Ever since bursting onto the local rock scene on December 18th 2004 (a mere 6-weeks after forming!) Huntingdon based noise-kids ATLF have promised to be a band destined for big-things. Fusing dynamic punk fuelled riffs with emotional, heart-felt and honest lyrical melody, ATLF will assault your senses leaving you battered, exhausted, and feeling punch-drunk – yet smiling!
ATLF display a furiously energetic live show, with many a spilt pint and cut-lip the resulting casualties of such encounters. Every show is played as if it’s the last, every guitar chord slashed, every drum beat rhythmically pounded, every vocal line projected as if your very life depended on it being heard. Wrap this up with a charisma and confidence rarely seen this side of the North Atlantic and you have got your self one of the most exciting young punk-rock acts in the country.
ATLF’s debut EP ‘The Dresden Diaries’ has been received to critical acclaim by various publications, online fanzines and music fans alike. This has helped the band to secure some high-profile support shows with bands such as Towers Of London, The Suffrajets and Letdown, whilst garnering interest from management, PR and record company executives alike.
With the band continuing to gain support and media attention, it’s only a matter of time before ATLF begin to infiltrate and make waves in a scene dominated by bands where style is more important then substance. The new saviors of Rock ‘n’ Roll? You better believe it………..
