We are As Shadows Collapse and we compose create and play nothing but metal. We write a heavy, fast,and rythmic version that will devistate you, but at the same time keep you wanting more. The main thing we are out to do though is just to do what we love best, and that is composing creating and writing heavy metal music.

The Band was formed in the summer of 07' consisting of only Nathan, Dusty, Joe, and Matt. With Matt, Dusty, and Joe being brothers, and Nathan a close friend of the family, composing music was easy, and so the writing process began. Backed by powerful influences of All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, KillSwitch Engage, Lamb of God, and yes...even some Job for A Cowboy, they began to develop a style both melodic and heavy.

After a couple months of songwriting, a fifth member (our first vocalist) was added completing the band. We did really well for a while, writing songs and playing a couple shows but due to musical differences we had to part with our vocalist. Then in December of 08', we auditioned another vocalist-Jesse Johnson- who quickly filled in the gap with his unique style of vocals, and once again completed the band. We are currently writing to finish our album, we recently finished recording our first demo, and after that we plan to finish our first album, with plenty of shows in between. Lately we have had the opportunity to open for top artists like: Within the Ruins (victory records), We Were Gentlemen (victory records) and Wretched (victory records).So if you hear of a show in your area, come out for a night of metal you won't soon forget.
