As I Stand is a four piece modern rock band from Los Angeles, California. As I Stand assembled in early 2005 to complete a recording project at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Since then the band has evolved into it's own independent label (Hollow Bottle Productions), while playing high energy shows in the greater Los Angeles area. As I Stand is a 100% D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself) endeavor. As I Stand is a fusion of hard hitting drums, funk/reggae bass, eclectic guitar riffs, soaring vocals, and identafiable lyrics. The band consists of Roberto Valdivia (lead vocals/acoustic guitar), Matthew Dadario (guitar/keyboard/back-up vocals), Nate Kipp (Bass), and Billy McNicol (Drums) .
