*Ascella* is a five-piece melodic rock band from Draper, Utah. After several years of individual success composing and performing music, the band members came together in March 2008 to combine their talents and share them with everyone. *Ascella* has a wide variety of sounds, with influences ranging from Dashboard Confessional and Jimmy Eat World, to Def Leppard and Boston. The band looks forward to playing many shows in the near future and is attempting to release a self-recorded EP by the end of June. With Eric and Shawn on the acoustic guitar and vocals, Kenny on rhythm/solo guitar, Cameron on bass, and Mike on drums, *Ascella* now looks to become a hit on the local music scene in Utah.
