asbos have been together since the start of 2004. After a couple of gigs in Wrexham and noticing the lack of places to play in North Wales, they decided to move from North Wales to Liverpool to try and get their music out to more people. They quickly recorded a demo and concentrated on building up a following, since then they have become known for their tight intricate sound and impressive performances.
Most of 2004 was spent playing regularly around Liverpool tightening up the sound and getting better at performing, before writing a new set and recording a new demo at the start of 2005.
The new demo was well received and helped to boost the bands already growing reputation, helping them gain key support slots with the likes of The Fever and Art Brut as well as becoming a headline act and organising their own night which is monthly at the Cali.
Most recently asbos have written and recorded a new trio of songs which the group plan to promote on much bigger scale than the other demos, and are now looking to move up to next level and push for a publishing or recoding contract as well as continuing to improve musically and keep writing good interesting new music.
