Arson are masters in combining the aggressiveness of Metalcore with the power of New Metal and the intensity of Emocore to an explosive mixture of these three genres.
With this unique sound, Arson takes you to a journey of heavy tracks mixed with emotional loaded melodies.

Founded in November 1999 by Benjamin Schanzke (git), Manuel Weber (dr), Arne Clemm (b) und Jrgen Schneider (voc), Arson played their first show at an youth-event in front of a crowd of 1800 in June 2000.

Just two weeks later Arson won a local Battle of the Bands competition and decided to send their demo to big music festivals. This opened the doors to play at some of the most important European rock festivals such as the The Flevo Festival in the Netherlands (audience of 11,000), YMCA-Festival in Prague (audience of 8,000) Freakstock (audience of 8,000) and many other festivals in Germany, Sweden, Italy and Switzerland.

In June 2000 they released their debut album New World with (Pleitegeier Records). The album got the National Album of the Year-Award by CCM-Magazine. The band was awarded with the National Newcomer of the Year award.

In summer of 2004 singer Jrgen Schneider left the band for personal reasons. Just weeks later Arson found the perfect replacement in Thomas Suessenbach. In March of 2005 they began the recordings for BBFUB. For this production the band chose established producers, Daniel Konold and Tobias Kurrle, who also recorded the recent albums of Opposition of One and Today Forever.

After the release of BBFUB Arson only got great reviews. Metal Hammer - Germany`s most important Metal-magazine - voted the album into the Top 10 in January 2006 and the album also got the Silver Triangle for the Best national Rock album 2005 by Sound7.de, a German e-zine.

Finished the Brokeness-tour in December 2006 Arne Clemm left the band to join university. From that day on Arson is a trio and works on their next album.
When they played some of the new stuff live the audience was enthused.
