So what is going on with Ariel Kill Him.
Well let me tell you. The summer has been very stressful for me. I have been searching for a new apartment without any real luck.
I have been written & producing some bands and artist records over at our own studio and at the same time tried to get some relaxation in the Swedish summer weather.
This year has so far been hard on me in almost every single way you can imagine and on top of that I had to finish the new record Named after You. I am very pleased with the result now when everything has been sinking in. Hope you like it to!

A lot of people are e-mailing me and sending me messages here at myspace concerning touring and I am sorry to say that at the moment nothing is planned yet. But Ive been talking to different booking agencies about this matter. And now a European tour for fall/winter is in the works. So if you want me to play at your local bar or venue, please contact Ralf at 2fortheroad through: ralf@2fortheroad.de
Right now a new website at I have been written & producing some bands and artist records over at our own studio and at the same time tried to get some relaxation in the Swedish summer weather.
A new look atwww.arielkillhim.com is in the works. It will be up and running soon enough. ( I hope)
Also a video is in the making process, youll be able to see it here on myspace later on.
Before I quit writing I also want to give a big potion of love to all of you people who write me now and then encouraging me to continue doing what I do. And at the same time I want to apologise for not having enough time to answer all of them. I hope you know it means the world to me to read your kind words!
VIVA LOVE!

NAMED AFTER YOU.
It is done. Yes, its true. The new record is finally finished. Something I during the process it took to make the record I sometimes seriously did doubt. Its been a recording with so many obstacles to climb and so many challenges to meet, and conquer. But now its done and I am really exited about the result.
As I described it before; this recording has by all means been the most difficult one ever, how I felt during the process making it will haunt me for the rest of my life.
I've been struggling with lack of inspiration and confidence, technical problems with our studio equipment and some overwhelming things going on in my personal life. I have had a pretty hard time knowing what direction I wanted to take with Ariel Kill Him. I didn't want to do another "In the pyramid" or "Alpha is Down" as much as I didn't want the songs to sound like "Labyrinths EP". It's very important for me to try to always have my records sound different from each other. And it's the challenge to accomplish that, which is so inspiring as well as it is my biggest headache.
So the new songs are finally getting out on a disc. At the writing moment the record is getting pressed at the pressing plant and Im exited to get it released at June 14th by the awesome people at Kasual Recordings who always supports and believe in me.
I also want to send a great portion of love to all the people encouraging me to continuing what I am doing, frequently asking for more songs, writing long e-mails and/or letters with strange questions about my shoe size, my favourite mascara brand and how tall I am. Others questions are about what kind of gear I use. Others are filled with stories about how a song affected someones life in a certain way.
They all mean the world to me and that is what makes my world spin a little bit extra everyday. I think every man/woman need to feel wanted and needed, that they are doing something that really means something. You help me with that feeling and hope someone helps you with it too.
Because of all questions I get (I wish I could answer each of them personal) youll going to find a FAQ sections with some both odd and hopefully interesting questions and answers on the new homepage that will be launched prior to the release of Named After You
I hope youll like my new record and I am looking forward to perform the songs live at a club near you during 2006.
VIVA LOVE!

Gvle, January 17th 2006
The snow is still falling hard over Gvle and I can finally see the end coming closer in the making of this new record. Right now Ive put nine songs to tape, with a couple of more yet to be recorded. This recording have (and still is) by all means been the most difficult one ever. And it's the challenge to accomplish that, that is so inspiring as well as it is my biggest headache.
Many people are writing wondering about the sound of the new record and what can I say? It's more electronic than it is acoustic. But it's not that different from what you can expect from Ariel Kill Him songwise though. People who have heard the songs says it's a "sad, but hopefull" bunch of songs, and maybe they are right, I don't know.
I always think it's hard to judge, label and describe my own art. Anyway theres a lot of programmings, keyboards and organs. I've tried to tear down the way I usually write and arrange songs. One goal I have had throughout the making of this one is that you should hear that the songs are specifically written for THIS record. Not just a song i wrote 2 years ago and used later on.
I think some of the songs can get get placed next to the best I ever wrote and hopefully you agree.
The other day my dear friend Mia was here visiting me. So we went to the studio were I showed her some of the songs and asked if she would like to put some vocals on them, and she did. I think the outcome of that is really something extra this time. I also had my newfound friend Elin put down her voice to tape - and I'm just as excited about that.
I also get mails about what equipment I use to make some of the guitar sounds. The guitar I use most of the time is a Fender Japan Telecaster. I play it on my Musicman 212HD 2x12 combo. The different pedals I use is (in no special order) Tremolo, Flanger, Overdrive, Distortion, Whammy, Octave, Delay, Phase shifter and a cromatic tuner. That's about it I think.
I know Ive said it before but this time its for real. A sound clip from the upcoming album will be posted soon. Its a clip from the first single off of the album and its called Vivid & Alive. The final version will be available on iTunes and the likes prior to the album release but, as I said, expect an excerpt from the song to be posted here shortly (within a week or so).
Ive been keeping busy with my other band, Ikaros, these past months and soon we will be done promoting the album so I can start touring on the Ariel Kill Him album. Ikaros Speak Music will be in stores in Japan on February 8th through Fabtone Records and we will do a couple of shows in Germany in February as well. Visit www.ikarosmusic.com or www.kasual.se for more info A video for the track New will be done within a month and will hopefully be broadcasted to a TV near you
