Banda Soteropolitana originalmente nomeada "Gnose" formada em meados de 2004 por um simples grupo de amigos com o intuito de passar o tempo e quem sabe um dia darem sorte e ficarem ricos.
Depois de um tempo e alguns sonhos reformulados, a banda teve algumas mudancas, trocas de integrantes, novo assemelhamento de influencias e passou a se chamar "Arcade Noise" por questao de direitos autorais.
As letras do grupo não tem enfoque principal e podem falar desde problemas mundiais e sentimentos humanos - semelhanca entre todos nos - , quanto do resultado do jogo de futebol da semana passada ou de um poderoso chefe de fase dum fliperama classico - principais passatempos dos membros da banda - .
Quanto as influencias musicais, somos bastante ecleticos e escutamos desde Diana, Tony Tornado e Chico Buarque a Sikth, Between The Buried and Me e Protest The Hero, passando por Deftones, Spineshank e Nonpoint e sempre adicionando pitadas de DevilDriver, Chimaira e Norma Jean, o que deixa nossa sonoridade bastante peculiar.
Atualmente a banda participa da parceria Colarinho Branco, e possui um EP chamado Insert Coin.

Soteropolitan(From Salvador/Bahia/Brazil) band originally called "Gnose" created in mid-2004 by a simple group of friends with the first objective of having a good time and, who knows?Getting lucky and becoming rich!Sometime after, some dreams changed...The band had some changes, some members left, new guys came, an new assembly of influences took part and we became "Arcade Noise" because of some nacional copyrights problems.
The group's lyrics don't have an principal focus and can express our opinions about earth problems and human feelings - natural things between us all - , or can talk about the results of an soccer game of last week or the mighty last chief from an arcade game - main hobbies from the band's members - .
The musical influence is vast, we have an vast musical taste and we hear musics from Diana, Tony Tornado and Chico Buarque to Sikth, Between The Buried And Me and Protest The Hero, passing by Deftones, Spineshank and Nonpoint and always addicioning bits from DevilDriver, Chimaira and Norma Jean, what leaves our sound a lot peculiar in a total context.
Nowadays Arcade Noise is one of the head-bands from the group Colarinho Branco, and have an EP called Insert Coin
