Aquarius Records

has been bringing Canadian Anglophone talent to the forefront for over 35 years. It was the summer of 1969 in Montreal, Quebec that Terry Flood, Donald Tarlton (Donald K. Donald), Bob Lemm, Jack Lazare and Daniel Lazare began the independent label and with legendary rockers April Wine in the early 70s and then Montreal hearthrob Corey Hart in the 80s in tow, it was already evident that Aquarius was making a place for itself in the music industry.

In the 1990s, the label expanded its horizons with the addition of Sass Jordan to its roster and its creation of a Francophone sister label, Tacca Musique, to increase its comprehensiveness in the Canadian music scene. By the end of the twentieth century, Aquarius signed up-and-comers Serial Joe, local favourites Rubberman and Sum 41, one of the country's biggest and most sucessful pop punk bands to date.

Throughout the years, the label has supported so many local and national acts, and now in 2006, Aquarius Records is proud to welcome Danko Jones, Lindsay Robins, Jeremy Fisher and Brown Brigade to its family. As well, Aquarius is enjoying new partnerships with Arts & Crafts to form Arts & Crafts International and Mensa Records to release country crooner Adam Gregory's self-titled disc. With so much music out there and so many more projects on the way, Aquarius Records is ready and waiting to explore the musical universe with the rest of the world.
