Members: Jesse Menard (Vocals) - Scott Lehman (Guitar) - Zach Perdue (Bass) - Mike Wilson (Drums)
A collaboration of Death Metal, Doom Metal, Hardcore and even a touch of Black Metal coming straight from Retirement capital of Canada Elliot Lake.
April Silenced first started out with the following line-up: Renata Lehman (Vocals), Scott Lehman (Lead Guitar), Kai Kinos (Rhythm Guitar), and Zach Perdue (Bass) and with the name The Art of Dying. Later on Jesse "Flip" Menard came in to do secondary vocals.
Without a drummer they couldn't really go anywhere, until Mike Wilson stepped in (Blackout, and other projects such as Danse Macabre(Black Metal) and Shoot The Kids(Punk, briefly).) Going on as a straight forward Metalcore band with the typical riffing style they grew a very small fanbase. Later the talk of a name change arise, and so a week or two later we became April Silenced, and then played a few shows before deciding to part ways with Rhythm Guitarist Kai Kinos and Jesse decided to take his place. Continuing on as a 5 piece band, April Silenced began writing and started to write in a much different way, still keeping the hardcore atmosphere but adding more Metal touch. After a few shows, Renata decided to part ways with us and Jesse took the vocals position full-time.
(A few months later...) Now as a four piece, April Silenced will be releasing a 5-Track EP entitled "The Memory of Her Sour Disposition" with 5 brutal tracks of Death, Doom, Black and Hardcore so keep a watch on these guys they will surely melt your faces off.
