"Loud choruses, good looks, catchy chops, and great hooks" - Chris Price

Chris Price, Ellis Spear and Ryan James formed the band in the spring of 2005. Originally Chris was the only guitarist and Ryan was the drummer. Ellis has always been the bassist. Over that summer Chris and Ryan decided that since Ryan had more experience he ought to be lead guitar and Chris would just play rhythm guitar. At this point Appollo was left without a drummer.

"We had begun to fiddle around with some cover songs such as KISS's 'Lick It Up' and Motley Crue's 'Too Fast for Love'. By the fall of 2005 we had found out that one of our long time friends, J.D. Neil was a drummer. We quickly got him onboard and were all set. Our first major cover song was Judas Priest's 'Breaking the Law'. From there on out things really started to fly." - Chris Price

Chris rapidly began to crank out new songs. Becoming the band's primary song writer. Some of his songs include "Love Is Always Hard", "Too Hott To Handle", "Hot Wire", and "Backdoor Baby". Ryan James focused on really perfecting his solos but in the meantime produced a couple of songs. Including support on "Blow Your Mind", which was co-written by Chris Price.

In the spring of 2006, a little over a year into our career, Ryan James quit the band, stating that he didn't get along with the other band members. He was replaced by Jack O'hara who remained with the band for 2 months. Before he left due to a falling out between him and Chris over a girl. Ryan came back shortly after and things went much smoother.

Appollo practiced hard but the end of this original line-up was unavoidable. The summer of '06 saw Ellis Spear quitting the band after 3 months of not showing up to rehearsals. Ryan James and J.D. Neil followed shortly after in the fall. Chris pushed on deciding never to give up. He soon teamed up with bassist Noah Goldman and started things up again.

Appollo became more of a throw together band for awhile with many random members going in and out. Chris and Noah played whatever shows they could and continued searching for a drummer and lead guitarist.
