Appritions is five friends from Central Massachusetts who play progressive hardcore punk. We put out our own music, we book our own tours, we print our own shirts, and we break our own eqiupment. We have toured cross-country twice and we intend to repeat this process as many times as possible. Along the way, we have also played with a lot of wonderful bands such as No Trigger, Doomriders, Piebald, Attitude, Lords, Ed Gein and Ion Dissonance.
Our music falls somewhere in between the likes of Converge, At The Drive-In, American Nightmare, Isis, and Every Time I Die. Our lyrics tend towards poetic statements of disgust at both a personal and political level. We like to think of ourselves as against the prevailing trends towards inauthenticity, commercialism, and safety in underground music.
We will play anywhere for anything.
