Apostasy is a high-octane extreme metal force thatâ€™s been ripping through southern Connecticut for the better part of the last decade. Since their conception in early 2002, the band has spent the years creating a blend of hardcore, death metal, thrash, and hard rock that would become a trademark sound. Powered by crushing classics like "Honor Through Carnage" and "Godcrusher", Apostasy steamrolled through several many lineup rotations before settling on the current group of stellar musicians. Bringing influences from nearly every genre of extreme rock music, Apostasy has risen to a dominant status in the Connecticut music scene, largely due to their appeal to crowds of all tastes. The band has shared the stage with such defining bands as Obituary, Napalm Death, Strapping Young Lad, Therion, Dope, Mushroomhead, Powerman 5000, and the legendary Misfits, as well as a host of killer local talent.
