Formed in early 2003, Apology Denied has finely tuned their style to find the voice and sound they truly wanted after nearly 3 years together. Focusing on song writing and composition of music they have created a very unique and impressive blend of rhythm and harmony, backed with driving, yet interesting bass lines and powerful, precise drums.
Fronted by the rhythm guitar presence of the group, Darren Dornstauder adds a very signature singing style and particular sound to the band. His guitar overlaps and adds depth and body to the sound, while keeping with the feel and tone of the songs.
With his complex guitar riffs and tempo changing solos, Ron Sirois provides the lead guitar for Apology Denied. Ron is the most metal influenced member of the band, and the intensity of his guitar playing expresses the heavier side of all their styles.
Maintaining the pace and feel of each track, Sean Molesky holds down a solid and forceful bass line, which compliments both guitars, yet flows freely with the drums. His incredible finger speed can keep up to the fastest tempos while still displaying the solid and protruding bass line that helps define Apology Denieds sound.
Strength. Power. Speed. Volume. Those four words simply sum up the style of drumming provided by Matt Cassidy. Although complicated and creative, the sounds emitted through the beats are very simple and accompany both guitar and bass, while adding drive to each song.

In late 2005, the band packed up their gear and headed into the studio for several months, writing and recording new songs. Aided by locally renowned recording engineer Rob Farion, the band produced a four track demo which gave them a professional product and sharp sound.
The band has drawn from influences far outside their own, pulling from all types of music and all styles. With energy and perseverance, and showcases on websites such as www.thepunksite.com they are forming a strong following and local recognition. With the release of the four song demo From Pride to Shame in 2006, Apology Denied burst back onto the scene playing shows locally and province wide.
Apology Denied is continuing to work hard and perfect their craft, while promoting themselves to achieve the next level of success.
