A Plan of Escape bases it's roots in Johnson City, TN, a small city in the northeast corner of the state. The band has taken a new direction in writing heavier, melodic, and emotional music that is intended to make you sweat, have your heart rate raised, and create an atmosphere of energy and ambience around you even if you're standing still. Their music is also intended to amplify the essence of everything around the listener, whether it's breath-taking scenery from a high altitude or the lights and ear piercing screams just before running out of the tunnel before the game of your life. The drive and electricity that is behind A Plan of Escape's music wants the individual to feel that he/she is larger than life itself and that no dream is impossible. A Plan of Escape defines it's meaning in the musical world within the meaning of their name: simply escaping the rigors of everyday life and reaching inside ourselves to find who we truly are by using this wonderful God-given tool we call music. The band most definitely has a bright future in front of them and is excited about the impression they will have on each and every future listener. A Plan of Escape has had the privilege of playing with many different bands since their journey began, including several national acts to include The Umbrellas (TheMilitia Group) and Ronnie Day (Epic Records).
