Hey people,
We are Antares based out of Ajax, Ontario. We're not much right now, just four guys with a dream and a little space to practice (and instruments...those are extremely important).
Brandon Paris - Lead Guitar & Vocals
Tyler Andrew - Rhythm Guitar
Conner Saunders - Bass & Vocals
Dickson Benjamin - Drums, Percussion & Vocals
We each have our own influences, and to get a full list you'd have to ask specifically because the lists aren't exactly small. But a list of top 10 influences would include:

9. The Human Abstract
10. Dream Theater
Brandon: Anything old school, he loves the Metalica type stuff and has an interesting soft side to some of his stuff. He is a crazy guitar player with some of the quickest fingers ever seen for his age.
Dickson: Anything and everything with a beat. Also a huge fan of Dream Theater and Avenged Sevenfold, but a large fan of alternative including Breaking Benjamin and Incubus. Mad fills and solos because of his Jazz training.
Conner: Two words, Slap Metal, two words that fit oh so beautifully together...largely influenced from bands such as Mudvayne and The Human Abstract. His main influence being Ryknow, the bass player from Mudvayne.
Tyler: The most varied musical member of the band, enjoys everything from the mellow stylings of Jack Johnson to the heaviest of heavy metal such as Slayer, and even deeper into the stylings of norwegian black and death metal such as Mayhem. Amazing guitar player, very dedicated and unbelievably fast fingers.
We all listen to similar things and all have a large appreciation for anything we hear.
