Not too many bands can say theyve played Taste of Chaos, the Honda Civic Tour, Warped Tour, were featured artist on Myspace music, featured in Alternative Press Magazine, landed a fully endorsed national tour AND got national distribution of their all within one year -- and all without ANY representationBut the members of Another Day Late can.

ADL brings welcome change and logical progression toward an entirely new model of rock, continuing rocks current vibrancy. At the intersection of genre lines, ADLs music strikes a delicate balance between soothing melodies and intricately woven guitar-work, and shows, not only a polished exterior, but also the songwriting-horse-power to back it all up. And though its usual to see bands changing with the times, it seems that, conversely, rock is growing towards ADL. The music, many times described as a gateway drug, is fresh enough to pull in the indie kids, but catchy enough to grab hold of the mainstream. ADL is Mars Volta without Afros and pretension and Circa Survive infused with testosterone.

While still based in Upstate NY, ADL released their first full length, Ambers & Embers (July 2006), recorded with gold- and platinum-awarded producer Alex Perialas (Anthrax, Bad Religion, S.O.D., Manowar, Ginuwine, Aaliyah). Rigorously promoting the albums release, ADL began to smell success. Shows like the Poughkeepsie, NY date of the Taste of Chaos Tour, as well the main stage at the 2006 G-Rock Radio Beach Ball on the Jersey Shore helped solidify ADL as one of the premier unsigned bands in the Northeast. This rapid growth coupled with their successful East-Coast touring led Another Day Late to take their show cross-country and in November the band moved to California where things took off even faster.

Within a few weeks on the West Coast, ADL played the Knitting Factory in LA and began to draw over a hundred kids to shows in Orange County. Word quickly spread and ADL worked feverishly to write new material. During this time, ADL was chosen as one of the top unsigned bands in America by XM Radio and was featured on the XM Radio Radar Report, along with having The Lead is On in regular rotation on the XMU Channel. They were also invited to play live on DJ Rossstars Punk Rock Show on Idobiradio.com which has featured nearly all of todays hottest rock acts. Their draw at shows quickly got the attention of larger venues and within two months they were playing weekends at the Viper Room and the Whisky A Go-Go on the Sunset Strip. Celina Denkins, National Talent Buyer for the Whisky, thought so highly of ADL and their live show, she placed them as headliner for their second show ever at the Whisky on June 23rd. If that wasnt enough ADL also won a spot though fan voting, beating out over 750 bands to open July 1st for the Honda Civic tour featuring Fall Out Boy, +44, The Academy is and Cobra Starship. On top of the Honda Civic Tour date, ADL was recently hand picked over 13,500 bands nationwide by Ernie Ball and Vans to play the August 25th Los Angeles Warped Tour date. If thats not enough, ADL was a Featured Staff Recommendation on AbsolutePunk.net twice as well as a featured artist on the Myspace Music front page. ADL will also be featured in the AP&R Section in the Alternative Press Magazine Issue hitting stores November 1st.

ADL also recently crafted a business plan proposing a national tour, fully-endorsed by Pac Sun. While meeting with the heads of Marketing and the CEO of the company, the business plan was so well received that it got approval one week later. This tour is groundbreaking for any fully independent band and paves the way for gorilla music marketing tactics for other unsigned bands. The tour will place ADL in over 1,000 stores nationwide. Pac Sun will have ADLs new EP News Said Its Raining In New York in every store, essentially giving ADL national distribution. ADL will also be the featured in-store advertising, having window banners as well as coupons given away with every purchase. On top of that, ADL will also have their music played in all stores during the duration of the tour and beyond. Add the marketing of a PR firm, as well as print ads and you have one of the largest buzzes ever created by any band without management, a label or a booking agency.
Of course none of these accomplishments would have been possible without the music. ADL recently soft-released 5 songs onto Myspace that will be part of the News Said Its Raining In New York EP. The songs were so well received by fans and industry alike that ADL decided to track two brand new songs and is currently in the studio finishing the EP.
