Another Academy was formed at the end of 2005. This emo-rock, post-hardcore band consist of Sofrie on lead vocals, Clement on lead guitar, Anwar on rhythm guitar, Rashidin on bass and joining the 16 year olds is 20 year old Hans, who completes the band when he took on the role as the drummer.

The name "Another Academy" was inspired by the poem written by the American poet, Charles Bukowski. Before Another Academy, the band was known as "All Else Fails" but the name was eventually dropped to avoid confusion with another American band with the same name.

Before Another Academy, Sofrie, Clement and Rashidin used to be in a band known as "Willing To Fail", with two others who completed the five-piece band. After the band lost two members, Hans was invited to jointhe band as the drummer. Sofrie took on the role as the lead vocalist and handed down the role of rhythm guitarist to Anwar.

This five-piece group started out by covering songs by bands who had greatly influenced and inspired them including Taking Back Sunday, Senses Fail, Saosin, Silverstein, Brand New, The Used & Underoath. Currently in the writing process, Another Academy plans to release a 5 to 6 track demo CD by late 2006, early 2007.
