The song "Love You Still" was written when I was in ministry school. It is written from God's perspective to the prodigal son or daughter--someone who was once close to God but chose the things of the world over their relationship with Him. It is a reminder that God loves the prodigal right where they are and is waiting for them to return to Him.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
[Acts 17:24-27]

I was moved by the simple passion to be more like God in our thinking, in our feelings, and in our actions. May the Holy Spirit use this rendition to reach people who do not yet know Jesus, and may he use it to stir believers to be more like their Savior. Dan Woods Jan 19
