Hey guys long time no talk alot of things have been happening since the last time we posted! Obviously we parted ways with out singer Johnny and our bass player Jack...Anyways we're in the market for a new vocalist and bass players, there has to be someone in this world that would be downnn.. although we currently have a few that have been sounding terrific! Great Pains and Suffering to Create a More Powerful Image

Prostitutes, gambling, illegitimate children, a wife on the side; these are not things commonly associated with a saint. However, this was part of Saint Augustines life. How can it be that a person could have both a profound and positive effect on the world, yet have lived a life deemed, even by todays standard, deplorable? The answer is: great pain and suffering. Pain and sufferings ability to bring about positive change in ones personal life is a story told throughout history. It is the breeding ground of character. And the doorway to change.

The band members of Anguish for Augustine have embraced this belief. Hardships, from death of friends and family to broken tour buses and hard financial times have been endured. Just like anyone else. Everybody is in the same boat. But the band believes there is a choice between idly going down with the ship, and learning from the situation and repairing the hull. The band, Jack (17), Ross (19), Randal (21), Johnny (23), and H (24), want to tell people that whatever they are going through, they are not alone, and they can not only make it, but they can make it out a stronger person able to help others going through the same situation.

Augustine underwent a profound personal crisis and decided to change his lifestyle. Through his anguish he found meaning, substance, truth and faith. Augustines life is a model of the power of pain and sufferings ability to create a positive change not only in ones life but in the surrounding world. This is what Anguish for Augustine stands for and hopes to inspire in people; the idea that no matter what card one is dealt, there is hope, the idea that great pains and suffering can create a more powerful image.
