And it Must Occur is a six piece Melodic hardcore/metalcore band from Maryland. The band was originally founded by Ian and Drock in 2007, even though going through a few member changes, the band has stayed strong and never stopped pursuing their dream of playing music.

And it Must Occur gives a show like no other! The band has thrilled audiences across the East Coast with their tremendous energy, awesome light show, and their proven ability to entertain audiences of all ages.

After playing a countless number of shows in the last few years, the band has acquired a huge following; by fans, friends, and other bands! Now with a solid six piece line up And it Must Occur has done nothing but try to break the mold of today's boring repetitive metalcore. With music influenced by bands such as For the Fallen Dreams, For Today, and Bury Your Dead, AiMO mixes metal and hardcore together seamlessly. AiMO tries their hardest to be real to everyone they come in contact with and be examples of their message to be yourself.

And it Must Occur released their first full length CD in May 2010 entitled "Your Cities Will Burn." Then Spring of 2011, released an EP entitled "My Life My Friends". After playing shows non-stop, it was time to hit the studio once more. Now And it Must Occur is writing their second full length CD entitled "Onward to Victory," set to be released Winter 2011. AiMO will be releasing the title track off this full length mid-September. For now, you can check out the band's first cd, ep, and Limp Bizkit cover "Break Stuff".

After the release of "Onward to Victory", AiMO is going to continue playing shows local to Maryland and Virginia but will also be touring the United States.
