PureVolume

An Acropolis (FORMERLY KNOWN AS : AS YOU BURN) formed in September of 2005, with the original lineup consisting of Justin Walker on vocals, Reese Blalock and Adam Rhymer on guitar, Evan Cleary on bass, and Michael Bohn on drums. Adam left the band and each of them formed a new band; Adam formed Thompson (www.myspace.com/thompsonband), a band in which we play shows with today. Travis Holdren soon filled the spot on drums and the band was off again. This time, making their music heavier, more technical, and precise. The band later added Cameron Paris to the lineup on vocals, but Cameron and Travis were later let go . Looking for a second guitar player and a new drummer, An Acropolis turned to friends, Jared Ethridge and Keaton Lester, who were currently in the band Eight Ways To Sunday. Keaton Lester started playing drums and Jared Ethridge filled the spot of guitar, alongside Reese Blalock. Shortly after gaining guitarist Jared Etheridge, he parted ways with band to persue personal interests. The direction the band is heading in seems to be very promising and productive. We appreciate everyone who supports us and listens to our music.
