Among The Thirsty is Christian Contemporary/Modern Worship/Rock band from the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Formed in 2004 by two high school buddies, Among the Thirsty has developed into a nationally touring band, reaching across the country with their powerful worship, razor sharp rock, and rollicking funk.

Staying true to their hometown upbringing, they continue to reach audiences with their humility and engaging personalities.

Once coined "The Fab Four of Christian Music", Among the Thirsty has been able to cross age barriers and genre lines to bring a type of music that reaches the entire listening audience. They have been described as "Happy Music" by teenagers, and "inspiring" by the struggling adult who hears words of hope, love and encouragement through the powerful ballads. Their hearts of worship shine brightly through every song. From the acoustic worship service to the breath taking, engaging live rock concert, Among The Thirsty continues to captivate audiences of all ages across the country. "It's a freshness that goes beyond the creative arrangements and sing along melodies, it's simply great music that speaks to people"-Al D. Squitieri, Rev Music Group.

Front-man and lead guitarist, Ryan Daniel says this album was birthed from a heart to reach people with the hope and the love of Christ. The Wonder of God's love is at the foundation of this project. From the title track, "Wonder" to the powerful worship ballad, "I'd Need A Savior", the message of hope is knitted throughout the fabric of the project. "We have songs on this project for the church as well as the hurting and seeking lost, our desire is to eradicate the line between Christian and secular music"-Ryan Daniel, Among The Thirsty.

The project consists of songs from the razor sharp "One Sound", expressing we are all connected through music, to the sing along choruses of "You Are My Worship", a simple confession that God is worthy of our worship. In "I'd need a Savior", writer Scottie Henderson has effectively expressed his own story in a powerful worship ballad that speaks straight to the heart of everyone who hears it. "Sadie" is still another unique song that voices the delicate issues of a seeking teenage girl and the dangers of this world. Produced by Jeremy Redman of Big Daddy Weave, "Wonder" contains powerful lyrics, razor sharp guitars, and sing-along choruses with layers of timely harmonies. If you enjoy Switchfoot, MercyMe, Big Daddy Weave, Tenth Avenue North or Rush of Fools, than this project is for you.

"Our purpose as a band is to proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ, encourage the church and yet provide His message of hope for the seeking and hurting. As our name implies, we understand we have been placed Among the Thirsty to bring glory to a Holy God. We endeavor to be honest and sincere as we experience the struggles and victories of growing in Grace. We are four ordinary people who have been radically changed by the love of Jesus Christ and are blessed to have been given the ministry of music to express His love to the thirsty. As Christian musicians we understand the privilege to represent Jesus Christ and the responsibility to proclaim truth in our music, message and relationships". - Among the Thirsty

Among the Thirsty consists of: Ryan Daniel (Guitar/Vox/Piano), Scottie Henderson (Guitar/Vox/Trumpet), Brock Douglas (Bass/Vox/Beatbox), Gregory Smith (Drums).

I lost my 25 year old son to a drug overdoes on May 22, 2009. He had recently given his life to Christ but was pulled back onto the drug scene; I found him dead at my home. Your song I'd need a saviour has help me find some comfort "You're name is Jesus, youre the wonderful conselor, my friend, you're what I hold on to, I know that you brought me through, all the days of lost to the cross you knew that I'd need a saviour. Thank you for this song. Dec 27
