Fiercely passionate, progressive, raw, poetic, and hard working are words which merely scrape the surface when describing Kitchener-Waterloo's A Moments Embrace. The band creates a unique sound that is both heavy and catchy, drawing on influences from modern-day post-hardcore and screamo genres to classic progressive acts such as Queen and Rush.

Creating complex 3-part vocal harmonies is both a rarity and a breath of fresh air amongst bands who scream these days, and as delivered by A Moments Embrace, has been well-recieved by crowds who will often sing along. In addition to unique vocal arrangements, the band delivers an intense performance through complimentary guitars that range from both brutal and crushing to highly technical and harmonious, and an incredibly tight rhythm section that powers the progressive structures of the songs through distinctive, intricate patterns.

Formed in the summer of 2005, A Moments Embrace has since established a local following, been signed to the indie label This Dark Empire Records, and has completed the full-length album "If It Were Now to Die", released June 20th, 2006. This past summer has seen the band tour to Quebec and play many shows in Southern Ontario. Conveying a message of hope in the midst of turmoil, and honesty on issues in love and life, the band is passionate about what they do. With a hard work ethic and a goal to tour full-time, they are an act that is not to be missed.
