Amely is a solo endeavor by Petie Pizarro, former vocalist of Breaking Tides. Petie set out to establish his sound in early 2005, when wanted to experiment with a different style of music than he was used to performing. He created a few acoustic demos that caught the attention of people all around him. Convinced that he could create a full-length album of full band rock songs, Petie quickly began to learn how to play the drums, guitar, bass, and piano.
After nearly 3 years of writing and recording demos in his home studio, Petie is finally ready to unveil to the world his vision in music. He chose to record at Vision Sound Studios with producer Daryl Phenneger (The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus). Petie also brought in former Breaking Tides drummer Nate Parsell to track drums on the album, while electing to record all other instruments on his own.
Filled with meaningful lyrics and genuine life experiences, his full-length solo album entitled, “On My Own†is sure to make a statement about who Petie Pizarro truly is and what he is capable of.

i dont know if you check this often probly not but
anyway i just wanted to say that i love your sound when
you were in breaking tides i think you should lean to
that style a litte more i liked captain hook and the
void. you can make the acousic work but the techno im
not a fan of. the song on your myspace wasnt bad but i
didnt really like any of these... just trying to give
some advise from a listening point of view
