The Alternatives are a healty mix of Rock and Indie and have many influences that range from Franz Ferdinand to The Foo Fighters.They formed three years ago in brockwell middle school in cramlington and are a fresh young band with lots of ideas and directions.
They enjoy doing what they do and they enjoy doing it well!
The band would not be as it is if it werent for 3 very special lads and they are; Vince Lisle:Lead Guitar & Vocals, Bev Clark:Bass Guitar & vocals & Ed Gray:Drums and backing vocals, for if it wasnt for these three lads the world would not have experienced the style and passion that is displayed by the alternative rock band we all call 'The Alternatives'.

The band havn't really been doing much lately, what with it being the holidays and all, but we will soon be back practising and writing just in case you think we are slacking.
