From the streets of Miami, rises a solo-hardcore christian act with a power to knock you unconscious. alphaomega, the stage name of screamer/songwriter Lissa, is a fairly new act, originating in early 2010. "I knew that this is something I always wanted to do," says the young artist. "I have an unusual passion for music, and a strong belief in Our Lord, that compels me to do this."
Her influences range from a multitude of artists, both christian and secular: Showbread, Alesana, Norma Jean, RED, Bring Me The Horizon, and much more. She attempted to start several bands since 2008, but finally decide to do a solo project due to the inability to find bandmates. "I'd love to be in an actual band," she comments. "But finding the resources, the time, and the people who in it for the right reasons... It's hard to find. I'd rather start this on my own so I can have all the freedom of creativity I want and need."
Until now, she has no releases to hit the public. She hopes to release a full-length EP by the end of the year, and to learn more about what she wants to do with this project. "So many people are in it for the money and fame. Though these things are good, and I definitely would not mind the money in my current situation, I want to do this for God. He is the one who has put me in this world. I want people to know His love.... If I can show that to anyone that listens to my music, then my work is done."
