Almost Elliot are;

Almost Elliot started out in the summer of 1999 as a bit of a laugh between 3 friends - Nick, Mark & (the now legendary) Elliot. Having got into music heavily in school (around year 9), the lads decided to set up a band to cover popular songs by thier favourite bands.
Around this time, Nick became a Christian (praise God!) and got involved in the music at his home church, with Mark and long term friend Dale Gunn (who became drummer of the band after Elliot left).
Hayley Lawson (now Nick's fiance!) met the guys through church and joined the band in 2003, adding her own brand of harmonic vocals, bass playing & Keyboard tinkelling!
Still influenced by thier favourite bands but using thier newly found faith, Almost Elliot started writing thier own material and playing at youth events, self-oganised gigs, camps and outreach events, building a small but loyal fanbase.
Having self-produced and released thier debut release, the 'All I Need EP', Almost Elliot are optimistic about the future 'We've got loads more material and would really like to play more gig's , mainly secular ones so we can use our music to reach out to non- christian young people, to show them Christian music doesnt necessarily need to be boring and cheesy but can be loud and fun'.
