All the Day Holiday has garnered an incredible amount of attention lately, and it seems there is no stopping the buzz that is growing with this band. The Things Weâve Grown to Love was recorded over the Winter of 2009 with up and coming producer, Matt Malpass. As the interest in this band gradually picked up, they began to work in developing their live show. To coincide, the band decided to release the record only at live shows, and through the bands own Mail-Order program at a reduced rate.
All the Day Holiday recently played the Bamboozle Festival on both the East and West coast. While making an enormous impact with both guerilla marketing tactics and their performance, All the Day Holiday earned the recognition of RollingStone.com. RS.com anointed the band one of the âTop 6 Breakout Bandsâ at the Bamboozle Festival.
With the album properly released on August 4th, All the Day Holiday will embark on a tour with Moving Mountains beginning August 6th, along with few larger tours currently in being developed. Their live show is refined and well calculated, as it has been a strong selling point in helping them gain the credibility sought. For this tour, Linc Star plans on putting a strong focus in finding the right local acts to support the show. Linc Star will also focus their attention on seeking bloggers/tastemakers in each market, and inviting them to experience the live show for themselves.
All the Day Holiday has been given the tools needed to succeed but also the support to allow the band to progress organically. Linc Star chooses not to bastardize their art form by overspending in advertising. They choose to strategically reach targets and goals that we have set in the indie/alternative world. In essence, All the Day Holiday in conjunction with Linc Star need to keep things credible, and allow the fan to discover this artist on their own merit. As the old saying goes, âif it ainât broke, donât fix it.â
