To help fund my new EP project, I'm selling a compilation of songs I've entitled "my last & final demo." These songs are snapshots of the writing and recording I've done in the last 2 years. Thank you to Joshua Bartholomew, Andy Bova, David Baron, Jon Leidersdorff & Gordon Brown for lending your talents to these demos, in the form of engineering or co-writing or playing or producing or all of the above.
Track listing:
1. You
2. You Won't Get Me Down
3. Pen & Paper
4. Paper Cup
5. Sleep, My Babe (Lullaby)
6. Oceanic
7. Days I Regret (remix)
8. Pen & Paper (original acoustic demo)
Allie Moss - my last & final demo.

PS: I received a Nintendo Wii as a joint gift with Billy for our birthdays. At first I was suspicious that this "gift" was for me too because everyone I know is fully aware that I am horrific at video games (voiceovers excluded) and I felt Billy won out this year. But, seriously people, I am kicking ass at the tennis game and my bowling skills are improving! And I have yet to demolish my TV with the Wii remote or smash my hand into the ceiling fan (I'm not that tall) like I've seen photos of online.

A little recording update...
The last week of February, I made a trip to Los Angeles for pre-production and to begin recording my EP. First things first, I settled in and made friends with Rob's pets. No pictures of the cats, but here is one of me with John Milton. He did not want to sit still! (for photos go to myspace.com/alliemossmusic)
By Sunday, we'd begun tracking guitar...this was disrupted in the afternoon by the low hum of the helicopters who were covering the Oscars, which was only one mile away. I took a break, went for a walk and snapped this photo for proof that the paparazzi at the Oscars delayed my recording for a few hours. I guess it could've been security, but that story isn't as good.
(for photos go to myspace.com/alliemossmusic)
Then, on Monday morning, I got sad news that a dear friend at home passed away, and I needed to go home early.
Still, progress was made and I'll be back at Rob's in less than 2 weeks for more work.
with hope,
~Allie
