After signing and later parting with an Oklahoma based record label in the winter of 2005/2006, Ali has joined forces with Oklahoma's own Mama Bird Booking and has bounced back by means of staying on constant tour, a bare minimum of 13 dates a month, and has recorded a new full length record as an independant artist. In the summer of 2007 Ali began work with an overseas production company, Paradigme Prod, who are currently in the process of booking a winter tour throughout France for 2007 and possibly the rest of Europe in 2008. Ali has been fortunate enough to share the stage with such acts as: Meg and Dia, Magnolia Electric Co., Steel Train, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Desole, War of Ages, Flee The Seen, Bloody Sunday, Kingston Falls, The Actuals, Jeff Hansen, Southerly, The Old Haunts, Shearwater and has shared festival billing with the likes of The Flaming Lips, Leon Russel, Amos Lee, Limbeck, The Format, Damone as well as many others. Hey gang, I always pay to much attention to the myspace and xanga and not enough attention to this account, so I thought Id do an update on here. Tour has been amazing so far. We only have a couple dates left and I miss everyone back home. There has been some serious highlights but to much to type out right now. I just wanted to let you all know that a proper update is on its way! I also want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us this far. I know I wouldnt have made it this far without everyones love and support... Also everyone's barrowed showers and beds! And the people who fed us. Ha ha! Well, Im in KC tonight playing at the Reacord Bar for Kristen Paludan's cd releasew/ The Belles! Its going to be a flipping blast. Im nervous. I also got a new tattoo in Des Moines yesterday, and its been making my arm hurt really bad. I cut my set short, and Im really hoping I dont have to do that again tonight! Im being a baby. Ha ha. Well only ten minutes left on this coffee shop computer and the guys need to check mail too. Ill check you cats later. Take it easy!

Recording and tour!
Hey gang!
Just a quickie. Oh, I like that. Ha ha! Im not even going to spell check this... Anyhow! I am currently, as I mentioned in a past blog, in the studio recording what we hope will become the new record, and my first proper release. I just wanted to let everyone know that things are going well! We have the ground work for three tracks, (including 'The Best Mess', I know how alot of you have been asking me to record it), and if all goes well we will be getting a few more done. However.. In the last blog I told everyone the upcoming tour will be to support both Riley Jantzen and I's new cds... While he will still be putting out a new record, I unfortunately have decided to release it until after the tour. I dont want anything to be rushed, and I really think this thing is going to be amazing. You all understand! Anyhow, I am recording with the wonderful Matt Buckley who is putting an interesting new spin on my old dusty songs. He has a myspace, go find him! (Sorry Matt, ha ha.) Like I said this is going to be a short one. Ive got alot going on. Riley and I are working, AS WE SPEAK, on getting the tour banged out. The tour kick off show will be April 6th at The Conservatory w/ Riley Jantzen, Daniel Walcher and The New Cliche acoustic! 8pm, 5 bucks! Then the next night we will be in Riley's home town of Enid. Check our pages for details! Ok ok, I really have to get back to work! Talk with you soon. Also I still have a few copies of the limited edition scratch tracks cd, so make it to a show to pick one up. My paypal is down. Sorry guys! Ok, good evening! There are a few new pics in the photo section. Also all tour dates will be posted on www.myspace.com/aliharter

Hey gang!
I would like to take this blog to let everyone know that Revlis Records and myself have decided to part ways. We are however continueing a partnership in the form of a management type of thing. Everything is cool, we just decided it would be for the best right now.
In the meantime, I am in the process of recording that ep that Ive been promising you since last year. Im going into the studio tomorrow to break the seal on this project. Also in mid-April myself and Enid artist Riley Jantzen, will be embarking on a tour to support our new cds as he is putting out a new one too. So keep an eye out for that, we will be making quite a few stops. There will be an Okc show to kick off the tour and one in Riley's hometown Enid as well, details are still being finalized. Keep an eye out.
Well suckas, Ive been on the road all day, and I have been working non-stop to bring you all these goodies, I think it is time that I say farewell to this day. I am exhausted. Thanks for your never ending support, you do not know what it has meant to me this far...
On that note. I will be playing a last minute show at The Racket Room tomorrow night in Edmond. As a little treat for supporting me thus far, I will have available a new little demo consisting of tracks you cannot download, including an Elliott Smith cover, and a piano track that was recorded in 2000. You can hear them at the purevolume site, but cannot download them. I will begin selling those tomorrow night, and will have them until they run out. So thats that. Im pumped. (More details at myspace.com/aliharter)
Phew, like I said Ive got to get some rest. Thanks for reading!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS GANG!
Well its that time of year again! I know what youre thinking! Time for presents and snow and all the trimmings?! EEE! Wrong answer! Its time for margaritas and finger food! Thats right kiddies, thats how we do it in frosty OKC. At least thats how the Harter's do it. Anyhow! The holidays are wild for everyone, I cant even begin to tell you whats been happening in my neck of the woods, but Im going to try! However, it wont be in THIS wild and crazy blog. We will be posting up a serious update blog sometime after the new year, when the egg nog and champagne, how do you spell that?, has run its course through our blood streams and the dust has settled. Promise.
We just wanted to take some time out to say Happy Holidays, whatever it is that you celebrate! And thanks to everyone who stopped by to take a listen. We hit 10,000 plays! Its a good feeling! Thanks again everyone! And come back and see us, we've got lots to talk about!
Ciao!

UPDATE!
Holy crap guys! We havnt updated in so long! What is our deal?! Things have been a whirl wind lately, speaking of, I think we are having 70 mile and hour winds here in OKC today! Anyhow! As of right now, Ali is in the process of putting together her studio and touring band, writing and recording the new album to be released on Revlis Records!(Those guys rule!) And gearing up up up to get out out out on the road! Dont worry we'll be coming to a town near you! There is enough Ali to go around! Oh! New bio is up, I know we've been working on THAT for about three months ha ha! Also Ali is working on a new demo, which MAY make an appearance on the site! Wahoo! Thats all for now! Take it easy gang!
**ATTENTION**
The show originally scheduled for the 17th of Sept. now listed as the 16th @ The Bricktown Brewery, has had some technical difficulties. Due to the date change and a booking mishap this show has been cancelled. We are so sorry for the confusion, unfortunately there's just nothing we can do. Thanks so much! And be sure to come out to the Book Beat on the 29th, that show is still ON ON ON!
7/17/05- We've FINALLY updated! Check out the new pics & music! We are still working on the bio so keep a look out for that. Also within the next few days or so we'll be posting lyrics to some of the songs. Be patient with us! We'll try to keep this site interesting, at least until the new web page is up, which is ALSO in the works as we speak! Whoot!
7/18/05- New lyrics are up! We are working on more. We are mainly updating to say that Ali has recently opened up a music account on myspace.com! So check that out, and add her, she needs all the friends she can get! Ha!
http://www.myspace.com/aliharter
7/27/05- All the new merch is in! The stickers had a little color malfunction, but they will work. Psh. We have one sticker design and three new button designs to choose from. Plus, we are making up a whole boat load of demos, so there are plenty to go around! All of this most excellent merch can be picked up at any of Ali's shows, like the one on the 28th! So come on out and get yours! In addition to Ali's merch, we are working on some larger buttons which are being sold to benefit the Elliott Smith Memorial Fund for abused and neglected children. They will also be available at all the shows coming up. ALL proceeds from these buttons go to this amazing fund, so help us support the kids. Take it easy! And we hope to see you all at the show tomorrow at The Conservatory! 8 pm sharp! Be there or be square, suckas! Whoot!
8/1/05- Look out! Ali will be heading into the studio this Thursday to record a couple new rough demos of a couple new smooth songs for you alls listening pleasure! So look out for that. For sure she will be laying down the new "Now That Your Gone" & "Lullabye", as well as possibly redoing "Apathy". So keep checking us out, be the first one to download the new stiz-uff! WHOOT!
8/4/05- Holy MOLY! New music! Ali just got out of the studio not but an hour ago, and we've already posted a few rough demos for you all to hear! Let us know what you think. The purpose of these demos is for feed back mainly, so let us know! And dont forget to make it out to the show tonight! She'll be playing all the old ones and the new ones too!
