Alexzandra Spencer Johnson was born November 4, 1986 in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. She is child number six in a family of ten children. Begining at the age of three Alexz would sing to her family. At the age of seven she recieved professional vocal training for eight years. During this time she participated at many events such as school events, local community events as well as her local youth choir. But Alexz didn't stop there. She entered talent shows as well and won a National Anthem contest at the age of eleven. She was voted as "Best Anthem Singer" by the Vancouver Sun, and recieved attention in many radio and television interviews. Alexz sang at sport games and benefits as well and entertained visitors at the age of twelve, at Planet Hollywood on New Year's Eve. Alexz also began to take up acting. With landing many comercials she booked a pilot for a TV Show called "Most Talented Kids". Then Alexz started to become well known with landing the role as Annie Thelen on "So Weird". She only stayed for the final season of the show.In the show Alexz would sing and deal with the supernatural and also wrote songs for the show. It seemed hard but Alexz didwin fans over, since many were used to Cara on the show before Alexz. The show helped Alexz build up a fanbase. When the show finished Alexz decided to work on her music more. He brother Brandon helped write songs with her. Alexz did get signed to companies but ended contracts because she did not want to play the "Bubble Gum, Snap! Pop Girl". She also guest starred on TV Shows such as "The Collector", "The Cold Squad", and "The Chris Isaack Show" as well as doing a Made for TV movie called "Selling Innocence" and auditioned for Britney Spears' "Brave New Girl" but only making it to the final three, including a small role in "Scooby Doo 2: Monster's Unleashed". She then decided to dye her hair red as a carrer move. In 2004 fame came to knock on Alexz door again. She began to audtion for Instant Star. When she got there she showed the producers the songs she had written and they were impressed. It was a three month long search but they finally chose Alexz to become Jude Harrison. But Alexz did not stop there. She auditioned for the role of Julie Christenson in Final Destination 3, going to the audition dressed in a black punkish outfit, they decided to cast her as Erin Ulmer instead. Next up on Alexz plate is a solo album with Capitol Records that she is currently working on in L.A. with four solid singles finished so far, and filming Season 3 of Instant Star. This is just the begining.
