Alex Skochinski AKA "Alexie" was born Alexander Victor William Skochinski June 1st, 1988 in the humble town of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Growning up in a very musical family; his father having a masters in it and playing Cello, Guitar and Bass; his mother Flute and Piano and his sister playing violin; music permiated his begin. At the tender age of 4 he began his studies in the piano. even at such an age his fierce independace and rebelious nature showed its ugly face always relying on his ear and being a trying student. After a decade on the piano he quit to persue other intrests he had in the bass in guitar. Thus getting a wider taste of the musical spectrum. During this time he discovered his adeptness with words. Always a very well spoken and articulate individual, he took to poetry easily and took up that hobby as well. Becoming frustrated in his later teens he started to become hungry for performance, but being slightly reclusive by nature found it difficult. auditioning for several bands he starting to become increasingly frustrated with this fear and with seemingly less talented individuals reap rewards within the music industry. Thus leading him to take the leap of faith and start performing.
