Born in NYC, 19 year old Aleks Georgi has been hooked on music since she joined her 5th grade orchestra as a violinist. At 15 she began playing guitar and started songwriting. Shortly after, she picked up bass and piano/synth. Singing has always come naturally so she went on writing and performing without any formal training. Now as a sophomore at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, she has begun to take lessons from some of the most admired music teachers in the world. Rather than pursuing a music career immediately, she is studying hard and working towards developing her musicianship first. She is preparing to release a full length CD in the coming months and is looking forward to begin touring shortly afterwards!
