dear fellow purevolumers,

i have not updated this thing in too long (much like my own website), for that, i apologize. i also am choosing not to use capitalization- too much hand movement for how late it is. for that, i also apologize. i do things like make a point to try to update things and be all sweet about everything when the truth is: i have procrastination issues. on top of that i've got a lot of things going on with edumacation, working, and i just started playing lacrosse. what i'm trying to say is that i'm doing the best i can to keep my music out there and of a decent quality.

i understand i'm not a star or anything like that. that's good because that's not the point of this and me puting my songs up here. the point is that i write songs for myself and love doing it. what happened over time was people heard them, liked some, wanted to have 'em for their very own ears. i know how that goes. i want the same out of so many of my favorite artists. so just as a courtesy thing i want to let my music be somewhere so you can have it if ya want it. if not, that's fine too. sorry i'm not your cup of tea.

...i think at this point and whatever comes out of my fingertips from here on out will be nothing but late night ranting about random thoughts i dislexically throw together.

anywho, my mission statement or.. is it really a mission statement?... well whatever i'm about to say for whatever classification it gets..... alright, let me start over.

(i like how i could've just deleted that. i just feel like i'd be lying to you if i did. plus it's way funnier. haha i hope you have a.d.d. or else i might loose ya.)

i am alec. i love to play the muzak and will do so 'til the day i can no longer physically/mentally/realistically do it (i.e. arm falls off, loose vocal chords, brain dammage,.. you get it.) so the songs i put up: hope ya like 'em. if you want more there's plenty out there. start with www.alecdelphenich.com and there are all sorts of crazy links. there not thaaat crazy, but use your imagination and i'm sure they'll blow your mind alright.

okay, remember when i said i'm super tired and am falling asleep and probably won't make real sense??? yeah i'm doing it riiiiight now. so thanks for tuning in, i know i had a fun time updating this ...oooo "billboard"... i like that better than all the bios i've seen. i should put a picture of me holding a tube of toothpaste or something. then it'd be a reeeeal billboard. and it could say "brush with alec- the musical tubical pastical choice! your gums will be singing in no time!" ..then you'll wonder if your gums singing is a good thing or some common side effect that comes from such a shifty product with a bad ad campaign. ............right.........welp, i'm off to bed. see yas.
