Hey guys, just want to let everyone know that we apriciate all the support we got this past year and a half, and we will always remember the good experiences we've had. We are all moving onto new things, including Jesus and Fernando's new band (myspace.com/thetaxicabs), and we are doing this on good terms with each other. Again, we thank you for all the support. A Last Effort (originally called Borderline) was formed in September, 2004 by Alejandro, Jesus, and two other original members. As time went on, the band had different variations of members, and eventually picked up Jesus's brother, Fernando, to play bass. Later, the band went through a series of drummers, and found Marcos Casassa to be just what they were looking for. A Last Effort has a variety of styles; some songs have an emo influence, some just pure rock, while others are heavier and hardcore-influenced. In other terms, some songs might sound like Smile Empty Soul and Nickelback, or Thrice and Senses Fail, and others might sound like Blink-182 and Green Day. The point is, A Last Effort doesn't just stick with one genre of rock; they take a bit from everything.
