ALASKA from Zurich, Switzerland, brings joy to the ears of music lovers with Traditional Ska, Rocksteady and Early Reggae seasoned with a pinch of Soul.

After having worked their way up to the top of Switzerland's ska scene, ALASKA from Zurich are now ready to step it up: Equipped with brand-new suits and driven by their love for the music, they've put all their hearts and souls into the making of their new album entitled "Something In Between" (Leech Records & Party House Records (UK)). After a hundred hot shows in Switzerland, Europe and a successful tour through Russia, the nine young musicians brought their love for ska to a new level and present a new record that celebrates traditional ska, rocksteady and early reggae, seasoned with a pinch of soul. ALASKA are ready to heaten up clubs and hearts in cold winter 2009 on their releasetour through Switzerland as well as on a two week UK-Tour in February.
