Aggrevation are participating in a national competition called Local Heroes, run by bandwagon.co.uk. Local Heroes is all about finding Britain's best unsigned artists by opening up new audiences for local acts and giving fans the opportunity to discover them and 'vote' them to stardom. The prize for the winning artists, the awesome prize is live on-stage performances at 6 prestigious UK music festivals with full back line support.

So as it stands, Aggrevation are at the regional stages, with two bands from each area of the country proceeding into the national heats. So what can you, the average-joe Aggrevation fan do for your favourite band? VOTE! Voting opens on the 1st of June, and you can vote in three different ways (as many times as you like):

1. You can download the full featured track to your mobile by texting 'wagon aggrevation' to 84212, costing you 1.50. This method gains Aggrevation 3 VOTES. (Your phone must have music player software, and is preferably 3g. Check the local heroes FAQ for more information.)
2. You can SMS vote by texting 'LH 11117' to 88010 at a cost of 50p and Aggrevation receives 1 VOTE.
3. You can call 09067111117 and for every minute you listen to the featured Aggrevation track at a cost of 50p/min, the band receives 1 VOTE.
