It's been well over 4 years now since John Shermenti has picked up a guitar and started playing with his friends in their band entitled "Against Company Policy." After years of hectic practice schedules, over 5 different members leaving and joining back up, and a number of small demo releases such as "Sunday's Song of Sorrow," "The Beauty EP," "Insert Title Here," and "An Angel's Farewell," they have finally reached the end of one long bumpy road. Although the band has been seperated for nearly a year now and John has been off on his own trying to make it work, today, August 7th is the marking of the death of Against Company Policy. Although the end is here, we celebrate with the birth of a new more mature era in pop-punk/ emo/ easycore. Against Company Policy may have seen its last day, but John is far from giving up on his dream of music. One day he hopes to play his music in front of a sold out crowd with everybody listening and singing along to every word. Feeling some kind of emotion that they can share with him on stage. Against Company Policy would like to extend a thank you to everyone who ever made it out to a show and to everyone who gave them a chance on their MP3 players. Thank you all so much.
