After School Special has now been featured on 2 cd's off the Ann Arbor based label Youth Owned Records: "From The Mean Streets of Ace Deuce"-Split album with the Skafia and "From The Ground Up"-Neutral Zone Compilation feautring various local artists. Winner of the October 11th ska/punk battle of the bands at The Neutral Zone in Ann Arbor, MI, After School Special has been playing to ska fans around Michigan at venues including: The Neutral Zone, Idle Kids Records and Books, Southeast Elementary, Huron High, The Warming Hut, The Bling Pig, Oz's Music Environment, The Howell Rec Center, to name a few. After School Special have shared the stage with many bands including: Fanboy, Boink!, Nothing For Something, The Ninjas, The Know How, Suburban Legends, The Phonetics, Stereo 7, The Arrogant Sons of Bitches, Wiggum, Plunket, and I Voted for Kodos to name a few.
