Catchy and fun, those would be some of the words that come to mind when listening to the music of Afterthought. (ok, so that's what SOME people think, the rest of you are probably not even reading this right now cause you are barfing in your wastebaskets cause of how horrible we are). Influenced by punk, rock, and alternative bands like Switchfoot, Three Cord Wonder, MxPx, Relient K, and After The Order, to name but a few, Afterthought formed recently in the minds of Joe Patterson, lead guitarist from CornerPocket, and Ben Phillips, the drummer of that same band. Their dream: to write their own songs, compose catchy tunes, start rocking out in a whole new way, and above all, reach people around them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ (and the Truth that real men clap on two and four ((others first, then myself)) unlike this new generation of gangster rap has taught today's youth). With only a few scant weeks since they formed, Afterthought is showing promise, and the guys hope that they can bring music to you live as well as from the internet very soon.
