A FEW MEMORIES (English)

Was born in December 2000 (Formed as R.A.M.) , when Angel Gimenez (guitars) and Jorge Rivarola (bass) decided to create a band that must achieve high goals. Angel and Jorge started to work hard to make it real, so they composed a lot of songs, then Lucas Santarelli (vocals) joined the band, after a few month Fernando Sarría (drums) consolidate the band, and togheter they started to record their first EP. In December 2004 Lucas left the band. In January 1, 2006, Gerard Pfingst (guitar, backing vocals) joined the band and the rock continued, for some personal reasons and parallel projects Pfingst left the band in 2008, Sophia Orrego (keyboards and sampling) joined the band in july 2008, and the last piece in this puzzle was Paulo Santos, joined the band in March 2009, consolidating it and ready to make some fucking noise.

Now a days the band decided to change their name to A FEW MEMORIES and the new line up is:
Legna (Vocal, guitar), Paulo (Guitar, backing vocals), JARJ (Bass, backing vocals) Sophia (Samples, keyboard, programming), Fer (Drums)

Cataloged as the South American TOOL by the Inside Connection Music Magazine and being semifinalist on ISC music writing competition in 2007 A FEW MEMORIES is in a good way trying to do a lot of gigs to improve their live performance.

A FEW MEMORIES is Based on new musical concepts, that seek a new fresh and futurist sound inside of a context with melodic vocals, loops, different rhythms and powerful riffs, delimit a solid architecture with the intensity of nu metal, the rock songs freeing and persuasive phrases and the melodies versatility. The compositions has been worked out on MIDI format, at the same as the recordings has been done on a domestic studio, that let AFM ideas flow and explore new sounds, harmony, rhythms, melodies that give more dynamism, creativity and independency to the band, to make an original and valid result.

A FEW MEMORIES (Spanish)

Originalmente conocido bajo el nombre the R.A.M., Nace de una idea de formar una banda con sonido un poco usual en nuestro medio (Paraguay) con el pasar de los anhos fue sufriendo cambios en cuanto a estilo e integrantes se refiere, llegando a sonar con un caracter propio hoy en dia.

En diciembre de 2000 Angel Gimenez (guitarras) y Jorge Rivarola (bajo) deciden formar una banda con intenciones realmente serias, convocan a Lucas Santarelli (vocales) para ser parte de ella, graban la primera demo bajo el nombre de VIRTUAL el cual contiene 4 temas, la DEMO no fue lanzado oficialmente.

En diciembre de 2004 despues de algunos anhos de inactividad integrandose a la banda un nuevo miembro, Eitel Krohn (guitarra) pasando asi Angel a tocar la bateria, deciden lanzar el primer EP bajo el titulo de R.A.M. EP, teniendo una ligera aceptacion por cierto sector del publico local.

Tras varios momentos de inestabilidad en Diciembre de 2006 Eitel Krohn deja la banda por motivos personales, un mes mas tarde convocan a Fernando Sarria (bateria) y Gerar Pfingst (guitarras y vocales), la banda comienza a tocar por el interior del pais y por el area local, en Febrero de 2007 llegan a tocar en el conocido pub EL SOTANO en ROSARIO-ARGENTINA siendo esta la primera presentacion fuera del pais.

En Julio de 2008, una vez mas, la banda sufre algunos cambios de integrantes, Gerar Pfingst la abandona debido a proyectos musicales paralelos, se convoca a Sofia Orrego (teclados y samples) para unirse al proyecto, y mas tarde a Paulo Santos (guitarras) de esta forma queda consolidada la agrupacion dando un comienzo a lo que vendra a ser la nueva etapa de esta banda muy prometedora.
