Born from a mutual love of bands such as Pinback, Immoor, Dntel, Sigur Ros, and countless others, A City Heart is the side project of Kris Keyser (The Empty Brackets, Angels Collide, solo work) and Dustin Kniffen (Ely Falls, Counterfeit Maps + Stars). Taking a cue from the Postal Service's songwriting style, the duo share files across the internet, editing and reworking songs to allow them to flourish from a tiny spark to a full-blown song with ease. Their debut EP, If You Ever Had A Chance,Then It Was Now, is available on iTunes and also at acityheart.bigcartel.com. Currently the band is working on a covers EP entitled Versions 1.0, due out within the next few months. Bands covered will include Umbrellas, Ryan Adams, and Lovedrug.
