Hi! Acid Pie is a rock & roll band, formed in the US/Mexico border in summer 2006. It was hot -as usual- that year when we got together to record some material with a mixture of styles ranging from classic rock & roll to folk, country, psychedelic and melodic pop.
We've been making music together ever since, Rolph and Alfonso playing guitars, and Edgar and Adrian playing (usually) the bass and drums, respectively. Our songs are about a number of things, not all of them obvious at first listen -existential or nostalgic songs mixed with psychedelic nonsense and a love song here and there.
Watergun, our latest recording, was made during 2008 in NorOriental Recording Studio. Artists like Wilco, The Beatles, The Flaming Lips, Oasis, Radiohead and David Bowie inspired us while making the album.
